The project mixes familiar details with a few modern concessions. The premium version includes heavy materials, tactile controls and enough unnecessary detail to make a GenX parent suspicious.
Nobody involved seems interested in pretending technology has not changed. The point is to make the experience feel deliberate again, even when the original version was mostly an accident of the era.
