The project mixes familiar details with a few modern concessions. Packaging, printed instructions and physical controls are treated as part of the product rather than disposable extras.
Nobody involved seems interested in pretending technology has not changed. The point is to make the experience feel deliberate again, even when the original version was mostly an accident of the era.
